About Bottega Drafting + Design
Bottega Drafting + Design was founded in 2018, built on over 25 years of hands-on experience
in residential and light commercial architecture. It’s a studio driven by thoughtful design, technical accuracy, and a collaborative spirit.
I work directly with homeowners, general contractors, and professionals across Pennsylvania to develop drafting and design solutions that reflect both practical needs and personal vision.
Whether it’s a new build, remodel, or addition, each project is approached with care, clarity, and a deep respect for the built environment.
Though I’m not a licensed architect, I bring a strong foundation in design principles and construction knowledge. When projects require engineering documentation, I collaborate with licensed structural professionals who run their own firms—ensuring your plans are complete, coordinated, and code-compliant.

Cassie Gray
Position: Cassie Gray is our Owner/Designer with a passion for building science, design, and learning new building methods and materials. With 25+ years of experience in the industry, Cassie has been instrumental in driving projects forward. Outside of work, Cassie enjoys creating memories and experiences with her family and looks forward to owning land and horses. She loves the mountains, rocky coasts, and the Northern Lights!

Over the years, we have built strong, long-term relationships with a network of trusted general contractors. These professionals oversee the day-to-day operations on the construction site, manage schedules, and ensure that everything is completed to the highest standards. Their hands-on approach and attention to detail are vital to the success of our projects. We are proud to recommend these contractors for their dedication and excellence. - RW Home Regenerations – I’ve worked with the company on projects such as decks, roof additions and home additions from the very start. Based out of Murrysville, he has been very knowledgeable and gets a lot of repeat business from homeowners.
- Mann’s Cans – Mike Mann specializes in retrofitted shipping containers. I’ve been working with him for the past 2 years buildings like pool houses and a seed lab for Tree Pittsburgh
- Gazbuilds – John Graziano is a new addition to my list of contractors. Based out of Westmoreland county, he has a good deal of experience before he started his company and I hope to work with him again in the future!
